Looking for small Point and Shoot for wife to put in purse.

Looking for 16MP or more, burst rate of 2.5 sps or higher

Thin and light

Looking at Canon ELPH 130 IS or Nikon Coolpix S3500

Any suggestions

Is RAW ability of any importance? Any software consideration in the equation? Will you now need both Canon and Nikon software or are you currently using 3rd party stuff anyway?

At that price point, you won't see much difference in quality between cameras outside of zoom range. I would get whatever is on sale and/or looks good.

You'll probably get a better response if you post this in the Small Point and Shoot forum, which is dedicated to answering questions of this type. This forum is for SLR cameras.
