why don't you like the alloy ferrules, i got them on mine and they work lovely, very tight fit

i have alloy ferrules and they are tight same as yours .. they start to flex when i attach the camera to the pole .. but when I tried my friend cf ferrules .. there was 0 flexing

How long are they and what size are they?

Its really strange you say they flex, I thought CF at the same size would flex and be an issue

they are 30cm * 2.7mm thickness each

At first I thought there would be no difference .. but when i tried cf ferrule I realized that the carbon fiber is much stiffer

Humm, im using 50mm at 200m length and they are solid

Audi A3 from last weekend, any thoughts?

Thanks Visual I figured that. Its more test trial and practice warming up for me =)
More will come, my subie friends wanted to see how the process is done and are my test dummies.

So far the rig is working great just need to tweak the whole setup

Yet again fail on the iso 800 which added a lot of noise and grain.

Just to let you guys know my 2-3 year old avenger cups all failed this past winter sitting around. My 1 year old wood cups are still strong like new. The avenger cups don't even hold a seal to a window/ car lol i'm going see if some white lithium grease in the plungers to help.

Those aren't the same ones you were selling were they? haha

a few days ago I got the best rig shots so far (5 secs, no shake)

HI guys

Is there any chance to make any damage on roof or bonnet, if you put on 4,5m rig? I want to make a few rig shots with one new car, but...I don't want to damage anything

this is the One Lap of America winner this year setup for a couple of rig shots once she got home from the trip. Built by TopSpeed Motorsports.

Yup and it doesnt make any difference what size the pole is, you can still mark the paint

Always go for glass as a first option, near the edges is better

I've done many rig shots over the years and can honestly count on one hand how many times I've actually mounted a cup on paint. It is more work to PS stuff out when its mounted on a window but if you mess up someone's paint, any profit you could potentially make on a shoot can easily be turned into a real loss if they decide you need to pay for damages.
