you're overstating the cost! it's only $11,799...


some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

And when I put this on my T1i, it's equivalent to over 800mm on FF! Wouldn't that look great... :D

That's why you don't buy in Europe or Australia, and fly to the US or Hong Kong to buy instead (or order over the internet).

It costs less to fly there, buy the lens and come home with it than it does to buy locally.
