Hi Bruce I'm helping to run a BBQ and free workshop this Saturday if you're keen to join in

There's a small contribution for food and drinks, but the models and workshop are free!

Smorter, thanks for posting that link to Saturday's workshop at the Flagstaff Gardens. I attended and have to say it was a great afternoon; friendly, low pressure atmosphere, stunning models, exellent weather, suitable for all skill levels and barbeque lunch. Top value and thoroughly recommended. I had to reluctantly leave at 3.00pm so couldn't get to Melbourne Uni for that section of the outing.

Wowzers, how have i missed this thread until now!

Im in SE Melbourne, did around about 14years in the Melbourne CBD every day (study & work) now im a stay at home dad with our first child. I do kinda miss the city and i even miss the 4 hours travel a day i did for tho's 14years (just a little)...

Would love to catchup up with like minded people but its a little harder now with the little one. Any sort of 'Country meet' is more my kind of thing. Forests, waterfalls, mountains etc...

Anyways, hello fellow Melbournians. I look forward to browsing this thread in its entirety over the next few nights between feeding the bubs.

Travis.

Yep, was good. I'd give the lunch a miss though next time, and maybe less #'s!

Hey guys. Like so many, just found this thread now.

Live in Ararat, Victoria, only 44 kilometres from Halls Gap which has a lot of incredible areas for shots. It's also a good jumping board for astrophotography due to the lack of light pollution.

Anyone wanting to catch up for some good photography hit me with a pm. I have been up this way 16 years and know a few decent spots but only got hooked by photography in the last few years.
