^B & H and Adorama also have a terrible resale policy... if you returned a bad lens or camera a day or two after buying, they will repackage and sell to another poor soul.....

I learned this the hard way.... i purchased a 5D MKIII (was supposed to be new) but when i opened it, it had finger prints on the LCD and the eye piece looked like someone with a watery eyes or Pink eye was using it... luckily, i opened the box right outside the store, went back in and exchanged for a "New, New One".....

Yeah well, there's no use discussing store policies here. Fact is, in Belgium, little to no stores take items back, even if they do not seem to work ok. So my only option now is accept the +15 MA, send it back to Sigma or buy the dock and fix it myself (?).

Shop won't take it back, says as lons as I can fix it by adjusting MA, it's fine. Would it be wise to get the usb dock for this lens?

why? I just mentioned store won't take it back, was not discussing which stores do and do not. Just making clear swapping it is no option (at this time).

By the way, tested the lens on my 7D and results are about the same, definitely needs a heavy dose of MA there too. What's bothering me even more is that AF seems very inconsistent. Sometimes (after MA) it's fine, sometimes AF is all over the place
