No, not at all. I love it on my 5d classic. I did like the 30mm sigma. I sold the 30 to help fund the 35. A decision I've never regretted.

Me too. I have a Canon 24L and a Sigma 50 1.4 (love both) so I've been hesitant to get a 35. Looking forward to working with the 35mm perspective but I hope that it doesn't taint my appreciation for the 24 or the 50.

Thats reassuring since i've just sold the 650d and 30mm. I got 790€ for them, and i ordered the sigma + a 40€ filter for 790€. No money spent! (Yeah right.)

Box cart racing was definitely NOT that cool when I did it so many years ago. I mean it was a blast, but we did not have carts like that, not even close.

^B & H and Adorama also have a terrible resale policy... if you returned a bad lens or camera a day or two after buying, they will repackage and sell to another poor soul.....

I don't know whether this relates specifically to an Adorama purchase, but Adorama and B&H are 2 completely different stores owned and managed entirely separately with no business connection of any kind.

I can only speak for Adorama right now, but I can tell you that we ship back returned items to the manufacturer for refurbishment, sell them as open box or use as in-store demo models

However, the manufacturers and distributors, who supply to Adorama, and of course, other retailers, do allow us to return unused, (not previously sold) equipment as new, because of over-stocks, exchanges etc. This can be a particular issue after the Christmas holiday for example when we all need to balance out our inventories.

Even if we at Adorama are completely thorough when packaging up these items for return, there is no doubt that less scrupulous retailers could well be receiving returns, trusting the customer's explanation that they never opened the box - packaging them up for return to the manufacturer or distributor. These items then form part of the inventory for sending out to other retailers.

We can't inspect the contents of every package received into the warehouse. If the manufacturer doesn't check the equipment before sending it back out, from the customer's perspective it is us who looks bad, even though it may well have not been our fault.

Yup! I did the same thing when the sigma came out.
