Took this shot a while ago and could never come up with anything in post that I found satisfying. Took another crack at it and came up with something I 'think' I like:

Cottage Charm

I definitely dig the shot as is though. Ha!...my thoughts never went there! Maybe i'll use that perspective in a future shot. Thanks for comments!

jamganz Goldmember More info | Out for a hike the other evening...on way back to car came across this gal(?) sitting on a nest on the edge of pond. I've been out to this spot several times since the weather broke and have come across her each visit. She is quite bold and holds her ground letting you walk right by without running off into the brush or the water. Fortunately, I had my 10-22 uwa and got right in for a couple of close ups. She didn't budge and let me snap away. I rightfully thanked her for posing and letting me take her portrait! ![]() nested interest ![]() ![]() IMAGE LINK: http://www.flickr.com …/78326219@N05/8750930807/ ![]() nested interest ![]() ![]()

I have been hitting 300-500 pictures a day. This area is incredibly beautiful. I would upload some pictures but, my grandparents internet is so slow and WiFi so weak, that two devices overwhelms the router. Also, my trial of lightroom 4 expired, and with the internet being so poor can't download the full version. I guess this is life's way of saying, "Hey, just enjoy the scenery for a bit!" Anyways, I guess I'll catch up on the thread when I get home sometime next week, and I'll coming bearing photographic gifts of how awesome Denver is! what?!
