I recently bought the 5DmkIII. I did this session to test it out.

Absolutely fantastic!

1 very minor thing is on the first shot for some reason my mind is trying to determine if her front foot is off the ground or not. This seems to take away from the image just slightly.

Also, for the last shot, do you mind sharing how you did the lighting?

on the first shot she's jumping, so she has both feet off the ground, that's why there are no shadows. The moving hair gives it away I think... no? (:

for the last shot, I used a flash with a softbox camera left, and a bare flash behind her and camera right.

Excellent stuff. Love the bold colours in her dresses too. I think number 5 has to be my favourite but they are all excellent of course.

are you just like me and upgraded recently from a mark 2 to the mark 3? I'm LOVING the 5D3's focus points compared to the 5D2.

Also, my favorite is your last image. At first, I thought you used an ND filter to darken the background and lower your shutter to 1/200 so you could fill in with flash. It looked like that type of shot. :D

I'm also a follower of your fan page... but you didn't upload these to it. Should I add your main page to keep up with your photos? HUGE fan.

thanks guys!!

I upgraded from the 5D classic to the markIII :D :D :D so it's a world of difference!

Last photo was taken late in the afternoon, so no ND filter, we just had less natural light in the background ;)

Thanks for following me and yes, add me as a friend or suscribe if you like, I don't always upload to the fanpages but always upload to my personal timeline with public permissions (anyone can see) (:

cheers!

Fantastic set , great popping colors, location ,composition and beautiful model. Thanks for sharing these. Hard to pick a favorite but I like 4,5 and 3 in that order.

Excellent set and I love the lighting. Although, I also had to do a second-take at #1 to determine if she was jumping or not. The lack of shadows makes the picture look a little bit like a composite.
