The exterior is made from the exact same materials as the 5DII, so I'm not sure how it could possibly feel cheaper...

6D does have the Magnesium body like the 5D II, but when u touch it u can feel the difference, the 5D II just feel tougher, and the controls are also feel more plastic than the 5D's.. but beside that, its a better camera.

I'll respectfully disagree. I shoot side by side with a 5DIII frequently and have shot on many occasions with a 5DII (My father owns 2 of them) and I also owned a 20D for several years, I don't find the 6D to feel any cheaper than any of those cameras. The T2i I had however, felt extremely cheap. The 6D definitely feels different, but I think cheap is the wrong word.

I thought about getting one for shooting events and stuff, but generally I like my gear as small and light as possible, that's part of why I love my 6D ;)

This is the 6D with the 400 5.6 + Kenko 1.4x TC for 560mm f8. It auto-focuses fine at f8 with the Kenko TC. ISO 400, 1/640, handheld. This is a 50% crop, reduced to 1024x768.

Thanks, guys. If you keep the shutter speed up, handheld shots will always be crisp. That was 560mm and I was at 1/640 sec, so I was ahead of the 1/fl curve.
