bring on the Puffins :D

Crumbs!!!!! the resolution of that lens & sensor combo at ISO 5000 is nothing short of staggering, yes there is some smooth noise in the BG but you can count the weave in the fabric ~ smiley :)

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

well just back, weather wasn't great, hotel had bedbugs and Bridger ate all my food!

So tricky this its unbelievable! Prob 2 decent shots from about 8-10 dives during the afternoon and thats hammering the shutter. Pot luck on diving place and where/how it exits. We were told it was a bad day for weather and the birds didn't fly up to the prech once they have got the fish, just legged it bag to the nest, still a superb experience, highly recommended

what a moron - so you have a bunch of photos no one can see, probably cos your kid has been beaten with the ugly stick Mwhahahahahah :D

Skomer this weekend, then a trip to Thursley on Wednesday and a 4 day session in the New Forest at the end of the week, the 300mm has been on the 1DX thirty minutes and I'm taking shots at 5000ISO in the house (I want one so badly)

Where are you in the forest Lee?

I'm down there all day Thursday for a day with Becky my daughter, a friend from school and her daughter. Camera will be on full alert for the day :)

Morning all. Not been around for a while - work and life have been a bit crazy. Had a brief attempt at catching up but failed miserably.

Best thing about this place is that I could just say "Great shots everyone" without looking and would probably be about 90% correct. Did see Penel's news about her father - condolences.

Seems like we have some new peeps *waves*.

Incredible KF shot Ian - very jealous.

I like this one as the wings and reflection

I think Mark is now sold on a 500mm, this new MK2 version was seriously sharp, I am sure his shots will show that.

More lovliness...............also such details and smoothness off of that 5D3 sensor  and as for the rendition of the newest glass!
