Hey, guys.

As stated in the title, has anyone ever made a lens collar for the 70-200 f2.8 IS II that allows me to attach a strap onto it, just like those on the fast telephoto lenses.

If there isn't, has anyone ever tried modifying an existing one to do this? There are times I just can't be arsed to use my Carryspeed strap.

Isn't that what the Black Rapid does?

There are some that attach to the original ring/foot. I have a Black Rapid.

I lugged my gripped 7D and 70-200 2.8 with my black rapid on a full day at the zoo. Best camera strap I have ever used so far. Just buy one and you won't regret it lol. Very sturdy quality too.
