HThe camera just starts burst continuous shooting until it fills the buffer, waits, then keeps going. It doesnt stop! The only way it stops is if I turn the camera or grip power off.

There is a virus... Did you scan it after update? :p

Seriously?! I got it right from Canon, put it on the memory card and updated. It downloaded no problem, installed no problem and camera powered on and it technically works fine. Its only the grip, at least in my assumption.

Canon emailed me back and asked if I tried the grip on another 5d3 - obviously I am not a high roller and dont have another one! So I need to figure something out.

Havent heard back from Vello yet.
