I really like the shots! I think the color cast shows blue because there is lots of highlight and the moose is in the shadow. Maybe you could try to tone down the hot spots and warming the image a bit?

Lazy attempt here, just to show what I mean (hope you don't mind using your pic)

It was along the edge of the Hwy. The traffic would scare him into the bush for a few minutes and then he would come back out. I sat down just in front of him, he came back out looked at me and kept on drinking water. This was when he would lift his head up. I didnt seem to bother him.

Congrats on some awesome shots; but yeah....that's awfully close o_O

As far as the white balance goes, Unrising's edit looks like the best color there. The other two definitely have a blue/cool cast to them.
