That's awesome. Do you mind posting a parts list?

Great looking dishes. Do you happen to have a DIY set of instructions? ;)

I can handle the welding part. That's why I was hoping for a DIY. It would mostly be for a parts list and what order you did things. Is there any reason you went with gray paint instead of white paint?

Have you tested the light pattern? How do they work?

That looks great. I picked up a bowl awhile back that is in my list of projects to tinker with. I like the added handle part.

I haven't actually seen a beauty dish for a speedlight in person and have been trying to determine what best to put in the center. I was thinking slightly concave to help spread the light or do you find the flat works ok?

Also is there some magic ratio for dish size vs center reflector size that works best?

Very neatly done! The flash mount looks to be *very* well executed.

What would we all do without 22" mixing bowls and 7" pizza pans?

from all the reading i did seemed like 22" bowl with a 7-8" reflectors seems to be best so roughly a 3:1 ratio.. as far as the concave i put the reflector both ways as the ends are taperd and really didnt notice any difference...

I made one a while back from a wooden bowl and aluminum foil, works great!

Now post up some samples using it :D
