And I thought the SA M-14 I have always dreamed about was out of reach!

Hey CDS, if you ever know your going to be up this way(South Shore, I'm about halfway between Boston and the Cape) give me a shout ahead of time. I've got a Loaded M1A and we could head to the range with if you want to give it a go. It's no M14 but who the hell wants to hold onto something blowing out .308 at full auto anyhow, plus with the match ammo it would cost an arm and a leg to feed her. I've got a M&P10 for blowing through the NATO stuff.

Not the greatest artistic shot, but a guy laid this down on the bench at the match yesterday and I thought it was funny.

Hey thanks Christian, I can imagine taking you up on that offer this summer!
I was just up north of Horseneck beach on Monday shooting ( taking photos of!!! ) Piping Plover.

As for the M14, I believe I "meant" to say the demilitarized one, ie: your M1A.

No problem with the M14/M1A thing, there's still a bunch of M14s floating about and didn't want to dissapoint.

I came across this recently and it looks pretty good(read as cheap) so I'm going to have to check it out of these days when I get some free time.

From Memorial Day at the Tomb of the Unknown in Arlington National Cemetery:

Although maybe not entirely about the gun, I really like this photo.
It counts in my book. ;)

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.
