I have a 5D Classic bought it a couple weeks ago with 10k shutter accusations in excellent condition. Well today i checked my sensor to see if it needs cleaning ( my sensor is fine btw ) and what not i saw a strange thing on my mirror on the right side of it looks like if the mirror was chipping off or something of a scratch it is small it does not affect my picture quality from what i can tell. But should i go to canon and have the mirror checked so nothing happens in the long run? When i bought the camera the guy also included the paper proof from canon that performed the Mirror fix and all that good stuff.

A flaw on the mirror will not show up in any photo as the mirror is swung up out of the way before the shutter opens. The mirror is just there so you can look through the viewfinder. I assume you can't see it in the viewfinder, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Are you aware of the 5D 'mirror fix'? Read carefully...

Does your 'flaw' have anything to do with the mirror fix? Do you know what to expect? Do you understand what you are looking at?
