^yea just saw that in the video which now has made it even more of a difficult choice.

Its more than the price of 2 CCs and offers less capabilities related to controlling the Einsteins.

I'd start with the CC. :-)

My post wasn't a signal that I'd changed my mind, just full disclosure regarding the 478.

oh man, I see i'm getting pushed towards the CC. I came across someone who has one for sale so looks i'll be trying to get it as soon as things get a bit better in Long Island where he is at and try to find a receiver for the Einstein. I may still hold on to the pocket wizards for now and see if I like the CC.

I used to have the CC setup and switched to the mini tt1/flex tt5 setup, and have been very happy with it. The ability to adjust power on about everything and have the flash meter on the CC was nice, but I didnt use it enough and the AC3 does what I need it too. I am going to get Einstein lights now since getting an Einstein and a MC2 is cheaper than getting another TT5/AC9/Alienbee or Whitelightning.
I was also having range issues with the CC working a 150x300 arena. With the PW it has been no problems at all.

Update - Finally made the switch. I ended up buying a Cyber Commander, a Cybersync transmitter to keep on the camera, 1 receiver for my speedlight and a CSXCV for the Einstein. So far I was able to pair the CC fine, now I gotta learn my way around

Curious to hear how your switch to the CyberCommander is going. I'm currently trying to decide which way to go (CC vs PW). I like that I can kill ambient using the SuperSync feature of the PW and control different manf. lights whereas the CC really works best with PCB lights (can't control power settings remotely on my speedlites for example).

Would love to hear how things are going along for you.

The cyber commander interface looks daunting at first but once you figure out what each color screen does your set. Also remember to take advantage of the CC's group mode. It's very powerful and quick.
