I'm considering getting a 100/2.8 L or 70-200/4 L to have with me when out with the dog. I had the 70-200 but had to sell it but now I'm in for a permanent buy. I love to do portraits outside but some action and just random shots as well. I have a Canon 60D and as you might expect I'm gonna be outside with the camera alot but if I get the 70-200 I need good light to get good shutter speeds.

I know, the ISO seems acceptable up to 3200 but I don't know if I can ever get a zoom lens without IS ever again. I know it was an issue over 130mm on the 70-200..
