On another note.

I ran CS6 update and checking the update info it took me to this page for upcoming enhancements that will only be for CC users...............talk about holding PS users to ransom with some highly desirable features that will only be in CC :( Here is the link http://blogs.adobe.com …-members-coming-soon.html (external link)

Just have hope that some of them get incorporated into LR at some stage ? As it seems they are never likely to get updated into CS6 (perpetual license version)!!!

Interesting, I remember seeing a video a couple of years ago about the blur reduction from camera shake and it looked incredible.

Quick hello / goodbye.

We are off on our first holiday in over 6 years on Friday - Vancouver for 12 days, scared about the amount of photo's we will be taking lol.

Got my 5D mkiii given to me on Sunday and have taken a dozen test shots and think I will be taking that one instead of the 1D mk4 (also helps that it takes the same batteries as Cory's 7D)

See you all in a couple of weeks . . . mwaaah

Bon voyage :D

I look forward to your 'report' as we have talked about going there for a good while to include Vancouver Island (wildlife the intention!) and possibly Banff. So any insight you can pass on would be very welcome :)

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Hi everyone.

Not been on for a few days as been away.

I know its a long shot but a mate is selling a (yes I know this is a CANON forum ) Nikon D300 and 4 lenses (a 10-24mm VR, 18-300mm VR, 70-300 VR and Micro 105mm), Remote cable Speedlight 800 and 4 batteries.

He will split and has all the usual stuff included (manuals, charger etc....)

Let me know if there is any interest and I'll get prices etc.

Evening all, not had time for forums just lately but hopefully things are easing a little and I will have more time. Not really touched my camera for about 3 months except for a few product shots for work.

Anyway, had a skim through and nice to see you are all helping the economy buying new bodies etc. There have been some fantastic photos posted as well, ones that stick in my mind are the great puffin and kingfisher shots. Also nice to see some aircraft shots from Ian again.

Looking forward to the bird of prey meet next month, will have to get the camera out and practice a bit before then.

Enough waffle, will leave you with a pic of my new ride.

Very nice, have wanted one of those since they came out! Still stuck with my FZ1.. Luckily I love it to bits :)

I'm not as think as you confused I am..

pretty light Ian.

I went over to my neighbours to see the woodpeckers who'd been there all day long of course as soon as I arrived they flew around a bit and disappeared!

Nuthatch and LTT made an appearance and they have a stunning garden.

I've only been to Vancouver Island once but it's definitely very nice. We used to go to Banff every summer however so feel free to drop me a PM if you have any questions about it.

Lovely birds mate. And your kingfisher stuff was out of this world good.
