Anyone who is a Costco member and looking for a good deal on a new 6D is in for a treat. I just noticed that Costco is selling the 6D with a 24-105L, a 70-300 f/2.8, a 16GB CF card, and a Canon carry case for about $2,750. Here's the link> Canon 6D (external link).

Happy shopping!
Jim

That would actually be the EF 70-300 1:4-5.6 IS USM. There is no such thing as a 70-300/2.8 from Canon or anyone else.

That kit does seem like a good deal, although I admit I have not priced what 6Ds are going for. Those two lenses would run nearly $1500 if purchased alone.

I use a Canon 5DIII and a Sony A7rIII

Still, that's an outstanding deal. Both are very decent lenses.

Even if it did exist, it would weigh about 8-10 lbs and cost at least US $10,000, from Canon.

I know that you can't get this deal now, but I got the 6D kit (24-105mm f/4 L), 70-300mm f/4-5.6, and 40mm f/2.8 for $2622 a few months ago from Adorama. I think that deal was a lot better. For reference. I'm sure something similar will be back soon.

If you want to get a 6D now, then this is a good deal. Adorama has about the same deal going on, along with multiple other variations with and without the other lenses.

I am not an Adorama employee, but I've got good prices from them in the past.

Looks like the Costco price is the same (actually a penny less) than Adorama's price for the same bundle.

Adorama deal has a 32GB SD card as well vs the 16GB at Costco.

ah, didn't notice that.

No sales tax (I am in Texas) is a big difference too.

My mistake on the 70-300 lens. I know that it's an f/4.-5.6... O have the same lens. I have been thinking about the 70-200L f/2.8 and that must have been on my mind when I posted this originally. But you have to admit, it would be a nice lens...

Actually Costco lists two 16 GB SD Cards. But with tax, still say Adorama is the better deal.
