Not working. I uninstalled both monoframework and Focal and tried different Focal versions. Same thing. Attempt to focus crashes immediately.

So, it crashes with your computer yet runs fine on thousands of other computers?

Conclusion: there must be something wrong with the program.

You posted the same comment when I posted about another version crashing a few months ago.
A few weeks later they released a new version that was a lot more stable, and the notes stated this, so it seems it wasn't my PC after all. It stopped crashing and worked well, on the same PC that you pointed the finger at for being at fault.

I'm not sure why you need to blame others for having issues with a program that is constantly being improved to give better stability, amongst other things.

It may interest people to know that it includes bug fixes as well as feature enhancements.

I got it last night. I'm still seeing crashes, mainly if the camera is set to the wrong mode. It's a shame I don't just get an error message without having to start all over again each time.
I'm glad they fixed the hot key issue in TurboCal, although as i get different results using the different methods im going to stick with teh auto mode.

I do wonder how the accuracy compares to the older version. I'm not sure if this means the older version wasn't as accurate as people said it was, although it did seem to work so im not sure how much better it can be as far as accuracy goes.
I don't see much difference in results so I guess it's not a drastic improvement, which bodes well for the previous version I suppose.

It's fixed loads of problems with my 1D3. It was unusable with recent releases, including the 1.9 betas. Now as smooth as you like.

Still wishing Canon would permit automated AFMA changes. I see no benefit to disabling the feature, just a lot of inconvenience for those of us using FoCal and anything similar - if anything similar exists.

Any ideas/help so I can print it & start.

There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired.

(I've opened many pdf files with Adobe reader- so am puzzled)

Could be that the files are corrupt.

Here are mine (from version 1.81). They are zipped up.
