Been focusing on pets here lately.
It's summer but much cooler than usual. My macro lens died and I havent got a new one. It's much cooler than last year and havent seen hardly any butterflies or hummingbirds to amuse myself with.
But enjoying the pets nonetheless.

Comments welcome.

I recently saw a "Jackrat" When I asked what a "jackrat" was the owner said it was a cross between a jack russell and a rat "terrorist", her term for a rat terrier. Picture a jack, tricolor face but with the upright ears of the rat terrier although she did say the ears still flop over. She claims the mix with the rat terrier calms the dog down and they are much more sedate than a jack; that claim probably needs verification. Being a true mutt, they can come with the fuzzy face of the jack and sometimes only one ear stands up.

lol that's funny.
Someone gave me a Mauzer: 1/2 malteese and 1/2 schnauzer. When I told our groomer she was like "he has to be the yappingest dog... why would someone mix them".
I'm like yah, he yaps all day and night....

Some of the mixed dog breeds are funny to me.

My fave is #3. I like the way you've processed them, it's lovely and soft and dreamy, but I'm not crazy about the brick wall in the background.

Thanks, You know I though the brick would look nice and I like it alright but I agree I wasnt crazy. I think to me it's the color of the brick. It was a little orange maybe I'm not really sure. I tried changing the hue in LR and this was the best I got. I also used a brush to decrease clarity and sharpness of it.

I had an idea to do them in a dumped over bucket with bubbles and I didnt get to but I think I may be able to give that another try here shortly.
