Hi guys, this is my first shot with the D800 yesterday (actually second, forgot to tighten up the tripod for the first one, oops). I just got blown away by the amount of details and the dynamic range of the D800.

Feel free to critique it :-)

Nicely done, why the jump to the dark side? ;)

TRAITOR!!! lol, just kidding. It's a wonderful camera and it takes great photos. Ilike your shot. And, you're right, there is a lot of dynamic range there :-)

Very nice long exposure - nice composition and colors. D800 is a great camera, but I don't like the fact that I have to use Long Exposure Noise Reduction in order to get rid of that nasty color noise that starts to show above around one minute of exposure. Other than that - amazing piece of equipment.

Well done. :-) And this was just with the zoom? Imagine what you'll get with a good prime!

<sarcasm> OMG it can't be a NIKON. I thought all their pictures were blurry </sarcasm>

Very nice shot. I have shot both systems and their both just top notch.
