If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

It is funny, but what does being Canadian (or not being Canadian...) have to do with converting yards to feet? ??? ???

It's been there for almost a year, I don't expect to see it go anywhere anytime soon.

Because we don't use the metric system in the US, well technically we don't but our favorite sport does. Go figure!

It was a joke. Insinuating that one is metric and the other U.S. standard. Of course, we know they are both standard, but the "character" is supposed to be functionally illiterate. The "confusion" is supposed to support that reference.

I thought it was stupid. I guess I have the sense of humor of the teacher on Wonder Years (Ben Stein).
