Very nice scene! As muffin indicated, the warmth and tilted horizon could use some adjustment. I know there are some spots in the GC where the horizon isn't level in reality, however the lean of the tree hints that some adjustment would make the image a little more comfortable. Not sure if you've cropped this to some degree, but if you have, and can include the ends of the tree branches in the upper left, it might feel more complete. At the end of the day, if this is going to hang on your wall, then getting it to a point where you like it is much more important that what I have to offer.

different monitors have different tint. Yes on one monitor it looks too warm, then the laptop monitor it looks natural. the tree grows off the side of bluff and is tilted and GC horizons are not level. this was taken raw, edited slightly but no cropping yet. i'l play with it a little. just bought PS 11 so haven't learned to edit fully. signed up for online course in PS11, starting next week. thanks for your input.

Nice shot but does seem a little soft on the focus.

It looks a little dark to me.

If it's going to be framed, you can level the horizon, if you want to, by trimming the print at that stage.

TBH i think the edit hasn't helped it (more washed out to me) and the soft focus is even more evident. I think the idea is great, but maybe not the best photo (at this point) to enlarge.

You definitely have some good stuff in these pictures... Load the CD that came with your camera. Install Digital Photo Professional.
Once DPP is installed; start playing around... Gently. Don't make DRASTIC changes or the orange in the rock will look fake and kill these pictures.
