Jun 05, 2013 10:07 | #2 Man this forum has sure died off lately. I really like posting here as it is the majority of the type of photos I take but it is a ghost town. Any ideas as to how we can bump up the participation? 5D2, 430EX II, 24-70mm f/2.8L, 24-105mm f/4L, 50mm f/1.2L, 100mm f/2.8 Macro, 85mm f/1.8, 70-200mm f/2.8 IS II

Seems most of those get posted in the people section so it may be a little redundant. I've been contemplating posting in the people section for more feedback. Jun 05, 2013 10:50 | #4 That's a good point. I guess I wished this section would be for those who do kids and families specifically as I personally think it is a different animal than working with a willing subject that takes instruction 5D2, 430EX II, 24-70mm f/2.8L, 24-105mm f/4L, 50mm f/1.2L, 100mm f/2.8 Macro, 85mm f/1.8, 70-200mm f/2.8 IS II

If you were wanting cc, they are very nice. Eyes are tack sharp, background blur is super, color looks spot on. All the expressions are great, if I had to chose my fav, then I would have to go with #7, something about the look on her face that says she is focused on charge, full steam, back into the water.

Jun 07, 2013 08:36 | #7 Thanks for the comments. Just out of curiosity does anyone here that posts not want CC? I guess I always assumed that is why people posted here to get their images in front of other photographers be it pros or amateurs. If not I apologize and will note that in my future posts. I guess I should also apologize if I have offered my critique to those who did not want it as well 5D2, 430EX II, 24-70mm f/2.8L, 24-105mm f/4L, 50mm f/1.2L, 100mm f/2.8 Macro, 85mm f/1.8, 70-200mm f/2.8 IS II

This forum seems to cater mostly to enthusiasts and some pro's but you do have a couple people who are very beginners and you can tell they are just only grasping basic photo 101 skills. I think most people are trying to be polite and not offend people taking pictures or candids of thier families. 7D / 28-135, Canon 50mm f/1.8, 85mm, Canon 24-70mm 2.8 I, 50-250mm IS, (3) 600ex-rt

I post on these sub-forums to let people see what I have created. If they offer opinions great, but hopefully no one gets upset about CC anyway. I would think all of us strive to be better and that is how we learn. Name is Ron.
