I compared the A0350Q0 "Backpacker" with the and thought larger A1350Q1 "Roadtrip" is about as small as you should go with a DSLR.

The A1350Q1 has a removable center column that also converts to a monopod. I needed something smaller and lighter than my Manfrotto 055XPROB and find that the A1350Q1 is a very good tripod for only $189.00 http://www.bhphotovideo.com …O_A1351QA_Tripod_Kit.html (external link)

The A0350Q0 at $139 is not that much cheaper, and I when compared them side by side, it seemed just a little too small for a DSLR. The main problem is the slightly smaller leg tube diameter and I didn't like the fixed center column. http://www.bhphotovideo.com …o_Travel_Tripod_With.html (external link)

Thank you! I see what you mean. I will likely invest in the MeFoto Roadtrip tripod. Thanks again!
