thanks Nick and yeah on the overcastness this day, I was going out regardless as I was testing out my new Garmin 62s I received the day before. was out getting to know how to plan and plot routes for my big adventure out west to CO and UT this coming fall. successful day figuring out the Garmin even tho the pics were blah this day.
thanks Bud.

I liked my self portrait though, 45 seconds I had to stand still there :)

Well, at least you weren't so disgusted that you considered tossing your camera in the drink. The last shot is very tranquil. The flattened ocean and putting the horizon in the middle make it very static.

Nice, I like the first one, great tones and your silhouette really makes it.

ha on tossing the camera, and yeah on that last shot, Tranquil is the word I thought as I was editing it, there was no wind soo it was very tranquil at the time soooo. true on the centering this time, the clouds and the foreground were equal interesting for this composition I thought.

True that, my daily job does not give me access to my camera's, soo my sunrise's revolve around weekends just like you. darn it :)
