I was under the carport when I heard a tremendous clatter in the sky to the west, and it turned out be FIFI traveling east. It was about 1:30 in the afternoon of May 25 I think, and had no camera available, and was talking on the cell phone. I would assume that it was traveling from Birmingham, AL to Atlanta, Georgia. She had been in Birmingham for several days prior. Looked like she was at about 1,000 to 1,500 ft, traveling slowly onward. It was an honor to be able to see such a bird and know the sacrifices made by the men that flew them.

I saw her in Charlotte last year - took photos of "Mitzi" (#2 Engine I think) with a prop governor leak. Beautiful, well maintained aircraft.
