Just in case anyone want to know how I do my viewing sessions....
90% of them are done in our office. We do have clients that have traveled 3+ hours to us, and those we do online using Zenfolio galleries.

For our normal sales session, they come in and have a seat in front of our 48" HDTV I use an apple TV to stream a slideshow ( animoto.com ) wirelessly from my PC in the office area. Even though I have a PC, I can use iTunes to stream the slideshow. As soon as the slideshow is finished, I hand them my iPad which has their images in a nice app called Portfolio for iPad. I have found my customers love being able to hold the iPad in their hand to go back and forth at their own will and look at them on their own pace.

The Portfolio app is also great because it has a function where you can make notes that are tied to each image (ie. 16x24 gallery wrap or convert to b/w, etc.)

If you want to see a little girl's slideshow that I shared the other day, with an actual song provided by Animoto. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=4867516497893 (external link)

thanks for sharing! How much is portfolio? I assume it lets them mark the ones they like, and go through them and narrow it down a bit further if they need to, to get to the package or items that works best for them?

Ive been trying to decide if I shoiuld get a large hd tv or just a projector. due to space right now I am leaning towards a nice projector and shine it on a white backdrop where the background stand is. My studio isnt the largest and if i were to get a hd tv I would have to remove the framed pictures on the wall to make space behind the desk. :)

Yes, Portfolio will let you give the images a star rating. I think it cost $12.99. The interface is very professional looking. You customize it look like a "Jay's Photography" app.

We just finished remodeling a new studio, you can see in this picture where our screen is around the corner from my office area. Then in the other picture you can see the small couch and chairs in front of the HDTV

Judging by that last picture, shes married? :D

Great pics, I have a hard time doing the hands on the face like that and having it be something the client actually likes.

Thanks, actually she is great with hands no coaching at all, and she says she will never get married. lol
