Mirror is not same as Shutter.. so are the fixes.
Shutter life is appx 100K clicks, while mirrors can come off at 5K clicks or so.
Mirror fix canon pays, shutter fix you pay.

Well i guess one being done is better than none. How much does it cost to fix the shutter?

Getting your VSCO groove on, eh? Great shots. How are you liking the packs? :)

I love the VSCO packs. A 5D with a 50mm prime and VSCO almost make shooting film obsolete for me.

Oh snap! My preconception was wrong. Nice 'filmy' tones anyhow!

The mirror fix was the result of a common issue with the mirrors on the 5D classics. Did the seller say it needed a shutter fix as well? If not, I wouldn't worry about it. As was stated earlier the shutters are rated at about 100k clicks. Not for sure on this, but I think fixing/replacing the shutter box is around $300.00 us. But if it ain't broke, don't fix it :)

Is there a way to find out the shutter count on the 5dc? I have been curious as to what mine is at since i bought it used last fall.

To my knowledge, there is no way to check the shutter count on a 5Dc, short of sending it in to Canon.
