Great capture but I think the logo ruins the photo (jmho).

Ye I know, but have no other option but to put it in the middle. In the past someone just cropped the watermark out of my photo and I dont want it to happen again. :(

I've had that happen before. Went into a local gift shop and found a couple of my photos on their wall. They just didn't understand that they were stealing my work. Now I only post low resolution files.

Low-res pictures is another way to prevent stealing happening. But I rather post photos with good resolution (1500px / 150ppi) and put watermark on top. :)

A good idea-in the Business of Photography section there's an ongoing discussion about this. A necessary evil if you think your photos are good enough to have a chance of someone stealing them. IMO very few of mine are so I don't bother.

In any case, nocely taken photo, and at least the watermark is not across the birds.

Huh, maybe something to be said for shooting crappy photos like mine;) which these are not. Didn't even think about the watermark until reading the 1st reply.

Well I dont think they are good enough, but still people do buy them as prints some times.

I dont feel okay to put them on the internet without watermark. Because pretty much anyone could stole it, though they are bit crappy photos. :/

I do study photography and hopefully I do it for living someday. *fingers crossed* :)
