Like the idea Adrian, looks good.

Have you tried warming up the main image a bit? The B&W conversion is very cool which clashes a bit with the warm colours of the horse reflection.

Might gel a bit more and look more natural if there wasn't such a white balance difference?

Another nice shot, did you meet up with anyone or go over on your own? Seen some lovely shots on the aviation threads from Amsterdam.

Rob thanks, not sure how but I did not notice it until you pointed it out. Picture of the eye was without flash and the one in the eye with. Both are colour just everything in the picture are either black or white:)

nice on the 1Dx, mine has that potential by the looks of it.

I went in a group of 5, we meet some Dutch friends out there who drove us round to all the spots. Spots wise much better than LHR but less traffic, although the cargo stuff is ace!

not working for me fella, sorry to be the odd one out. Its all a bit well stuck in the 90's selective colour type thing, I suppose you either like it or hate it, im sure clients will love it, can you not get the owner of the hourse to stand in the view of their horses eye and then light them up with ocf so they stand out and not do it in photoshop? it might work as it will be a bit more subtle?

Well I hope PS7 its better than LR5 upgrade, the brushes are rubbish and very slow to catch up, the spot remove tool needs bug fixing, I kept thing that I must be missing out as 95% of people use LR for their editing but after a couple of days with LR5 I'm sticking to Aperture for editing for now, glad I dont have to buy software or I would be a tad pissed off with Adobe as it seems they have rushed this out for some reason

Thanks for the comments guys. Was really good to get close without crowds of people there. Hopefully next time the red arrows are in I will be able to do the same again, fingers crossed.

Yes, it would be about 5ft long at 300dpi. Is that an offer? Lol

MD-11 that Mark, getting rare now, one of those moments you hold the camera in one hand and hope your lens has image stabilisation. B-)
