NIce shot! What is the secret to achieving a circular sun like this? Admittedly I am a landscape newbie, but my sunset shots always end up with the sun being a fiery patch in the sky, not a circle like this shot.
Do I need a graduated ND filter? I assuming that spot metering for the sun with render the rest of the FOV totally dark, so there must be another method. Or do I have to use bracketed and blended exposures or something like that?
I did this with one exposure handheld; no tripod or filters and minimal editing . I think it's just timing really, this was one my first landscape photos as-well.
