A thick smog descends upon Singapore as fires from Indonesia and other countries around the region rage on, bringing the average reported Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) to a never-before-seen 371.

Masks are now the norm on the streets, something not seen in full force since the SARS outbreak in 2003.

With the delays and refuse of ASEAN help by the Indonesian Government, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong commented in a press conference that the haze "could easily last for a few weeks or even longer".

Now that's a nice comp. Just the right amount of sun flare to go with the attitude. Did you add the flare in post, or did you capture it like that?

Gotta agree - this is a very nice shot. I'd be interested in your post settings (Lightroom?) and how you got that effect. It looks like clarity was bumped up quite a bit (maybe), but what else did you do?
