Well for such a premium cost lens those rental figures are OK but still a sizeable amount...............but with the likelihood of mere mortals buying one being diminishingly close to zero rental costs will be what they will be!

So I look forward to your real world user experience...............and maybe the opportunity to justify the rental myself one day :D

PS With the mainstream rental location now onboard I wonder if Stewart will end up getting it (one?) to add to his selection???

OK, just over a week to go :D Hopefully this time the weather will play fair .
Here are the details again.

Klystron wrote in post #15729399 (external link)
The timing are as follows:
Typical Day Programme

* 09:45 - 10.00 Arrival, registration and tea/coffe
* 10:00 - 10:30 Briefing and introduction
* 10:30 - 12:30 Static birds session

* 12:30 - 13.30 Break for lunch

* 13:30 - 14:00 Introduction to flying photography
* 14:00 - 16:00 Birds in flight session
* 16:00 Close

So I suggest 9:30 in the car park. Look for a grey Astra (those that dont know me). Then we can go in together

For those coming from south of the river (Thames)
Its 20 miles from the Dartford crossing, driving time 26 mins.
Once you are on the A127 you will see the brown signs to Barleylands.

This is it to help.
As you have to pay to go into the farm (including the BoP). We go in as a group and go round to the BoP.

So apart from making sure my gear is all ready to "go" is there anything about the arrangements I should know about...............like is it a sandwich lunch, as the link to the lunch venue seems to suggest it is a sit down hot meal???

Also, is there an emergency contact number that has been shared via PM???

Oh, the weather forecast looks like a scorcher ~ phewwww!!!

The time table and site details are above, lunch will be a full sit down Sunday lunch as per the link to the menu in the first post, included in the cost.
My mobile number sent by PM.
And we could be complaining about the weather on Sunday as well :rolleyes:
See you Sunday.
