There are some fantastic shots in this thread. I don't know how I missed it!

its not how you take the picture, its the final result before editing.

Hi folks. This is my first post on this forum so naturally, as an action sports photog, headed for this thread. Here's a recent shot from the 2013 Queensland State Sprint Karting Championships. This was the fifth image I shot at the event, having literally just got there. I was sat down behind a tyre bundle, had just attached the lens to the body and fired off a couple of shots to check settings when these two came together in front of me. I was still sat down, hence the great angle of looking slightly up at the top kart. It was only qualifying practice - not even a race.
The important details:
Camera = Canon 60D
Lens = Canon 70-200 EF 2.8 USM
Aperture = f6.3
ISO = 250
Shutter = 1/250
Focal length = 115mm
This is how the shot was - there has been no cropping or heavy post work. I have simply re-sized for posting on my Facebook page and added the watermark. What do you all think?

I guess that is how new karts are made - but should they have kept that kart home if they knew it was a bit aroused? :p

Daniel De Jong GP2 @ Eau Rouge. One of the bigger shunts I've seen. Shame the fence was in the way.
