Gah! I wanted to spend the day after my birthday shooting track racing, not get stuck in the ER for six hours because of sudden very high fever.

At least I'm home now, but I'm still grumpy as hell.

So what's causing the fever? Hope you feel better soon.

And Happy Birthday.

So what did you do on your birthday that caused such a sudden high fever the next day?

Or can you even tell us on a family oriented forum?

Happy Birthday. Make up for it tomorrow.

I guess we missed your birthday. Sorry it wasn't so hot, well the fever was hot I guess. Anyway I made you a card like 4 years ago just for this occasion.

QUOTED IMAGE

Aww, thank you  And yes, it was very hot in its own way.

They couldn't seem to pinpoint the exact location, but some kind of infection around my midsection. What caused it? I really don't know.

And thank you for the birthday wishes :)

Thank you for the kind words everyone :)

Today I'm actually feeling like myself again. Last night I Googled around, did some lymphatic drainage massaging on my head and neck and wow!, what a difference! Lost the awful headache I had for the past four days, finally managed to sleep and my body temp went to normal for the first time since this ordeal started. Yay!

So yeah, this Gemini is on her way to full working order again - gotta keep the world on its toes ;)

Hello from Germany! My name is Jenn. I'm happy to have found this thread, which I've been apparently oblivious to. So glad to be a part of the "older" group. :D

I turned 40 (YES!) December of last year and loving it. I am happily married to the most amazing man, going on 16 years. We have two beautiful children.

When it comes to photography, I'm a hobbyist, but do share my time and talent with our military community.

That's it for now.

Tschüs!

Hallo, Andre! Nice to meet you. I haven't been to The Netherlands. Maybe I'll get to visit there before moving back to the U.S.

Danke for the warm welcome! :)

4 days? That's almost...a week! Just saying hi. I have the day off today, and had the most amazing idea for a shoot...a cemetery! Then I found the cemetery thread here (yes, that really exists...) and discovered some cemeteries might not allow photography. I did a drive around and sure enough, there are actually those "no photographs" signs in some of the gates. I'll keep looking. My greatest fear is shooting some nice stuff, then getting home and find a ton of dead people staring back at me in LR.

Thanks :) Nope, no camera, but I did take some pictures with my phone. I was quite loopy through most of it though, so nothing worth posting.

Tomorrow I'm off to shoot some bicycle road racing and on Sunday it's time for the big annual summer solstice bonfire and barbeque night. Can't wait :D

Is this a normal condition?

For most of us it is. Why should Tessa be any different?:p
