It was a 97 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder. Turbo, fully supported.

I currently have a D90. I know that glass is always the answer, but I really want to try full frame. I just can't spend $1,500 on a body right now. I am seriously considering picking up a 5dc. But most important right now is a telephoto, a 70-200 of some sort. Just weighing my options for cost vs performance.

Lets make a deal on my D7100 kit and SB-700

Sorry to hear your health is failing. I was in a bad way 3 years ago with my back, and was worried I would never work again. I'm doing ok now with lots of medication, I wish you all the best and hope your health can improve and you will be back shooting soon :)
Good luck selling your gear.

Thanks and I'm glad to hear you are doing well! I'm in my my 7th nearing very close to my 8th year of dealing with workmen's comp I need both hips fixed so its going to be a year or two before I even dream of doing much normal.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel though once I get fixed up life will not hold me down and I'll be able to get camera gear again and heck who knows what will be out when I make my return, it may just make today's gear look like point and shoots of yesteryear lol.

I'm sad to see it to but it will do me well in savings.

Yes its a hard decision to make, but 6d seems to be very very good camera. i also heard d6oo has oil issues on the sensor.

I've had mine for 7 months now. It doen't have any issues. I would miss CLS and Nikon's flash system if I went back to Canon.

Sure sorry to hear about that S.N.A.F.U., I hope you are able to get patched up real soon. Might want to look into getting a small mirrorless and a small lens, much lighter and handier for everyday things.

What Better Way to Test Out a New Lens -- Camping in RMNP

I've been wanting a new lens for landscapes for some time. After a lot of searching, and buying used lenses that weren't very good, I finally bit the bullet and bought a new, high quality lens. A Samyang 35mm F1.4 lens.

My lens arrived Friday night and I was happy with it from my initials shots of my dog in my backyard. BUT, I wanted to test it further, so late Saturday afternoon, I threw a few things in my car and headed to Rocky Mountain National Park for an overnight camp and photography session. I was wanting to do some wide open astrophotography shooting, but I didn't realize that it was the night before the super moon, so that spoiled my plans for any dark sky shooting.

I am EXTREMELY happy with it! I can't believe the detail and clarity of the RAW files at 100%. I just wish I was better at downsizing/sharpening for the web as these photos don't do the lens justice. I can't wait for a truly dark sky - no smoke night to see what this lens can really do.

Anyway, here are a few of the images taken with the new lens.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Best pot and views with a side of skiing and snow boarding (well I'm relegated to adult hot chocolates in the lodge with the ski bunnies but I'm ok with that too. Lol) and why would you want to go elsewhere?
