Took our giants for a swim at a lake nearby this evening. Light was pretty poor but I managed to get a few shots that I kinda like.

Love these. We have two miniature schnauzers and I've secretly been pining over a giant.

Cuties.
We will choose our future boy tomorrow and he will join our family around 13th July.

I hope I can take some puppy pictures and contribute to the thread.

I certainly will. His real master will be my brother-in-law and besides the bunch of pictures we will take anyway he wants comparison pictures month by month to see how Marcus develops.
He is already quite big as there are only 2 puppies in the litter and his paws are huuuuuuge. ;)

Bysen, your pictures are outstanding, getting a shot of a moving all black dog is never easy.

I still can not imagine a 70+ pound giant Schnauzer with the attitude of our miniatures!

Some progress pics as promised.

Marcus joined our family on Wednesday evening. So far he is a superb puppy: very open to the world, no fear, initiating connection and communicating both with other dogs and humans. He is from a kennel in Hungary which imported the first giant schnauzers to our country in 1958 and keep breeding since then.

And this is Mephisto, the brother of Marcus. He will join his new family during the weekend.
