The game will last 7 Days and whoever can produce the best edited image (as judged by me) will be picked and it'll be their turn to post their unedited picture for all of us to take a crack at.

The participants must have their "Image Editing OK" turned on and they must provide at least a simple breakdown of how they edited the image, some entrants are a little vague on this point, please give us all details so we can learn and share tips. For instance if you use the unsharp mask tool or Smart Sharpen, provide us with the adjustments you used so others can try them out.

You can post multiple images, but the first image you post will be the one that is judged - all other images will be considered for knowledge and tip use only.
Feel free to comment and/or ask questions at any time. This is a good competition for learning new methods, so let's make it a bit more dynamic. I will be judging edits, not comments. Feel free to comment on the original image as well.

If you happen to be the winner of the game please start the next one with the title of the game and the following number. For exampleā€¦the next game should read "Before & After #477".

Submissions end, Saturday, June 22th, 2013 at 6:00 PM GMT-5 (USA Central time) and a winner will be announced.

Good Luck and have fun!

Here's the RAW File for those who would like one to work with.

Ill give this a try. For this shot I opened in Elements, adjusted the levels a tad, did a bit of sharpening, cropped, used the clone tool and spot healing tools to remove some shadows and a light post in the back ground and then a B&W conversion. I liked the plaques on the wall so I cropped tighter so those would be the main focal point and at the same time cropping the wall with the skating sign out of the foreground.

Cloned a few things out, played with color curves, added vignette and grain for 70's vintage finish.

Where to start...

Photoshop CC:
Camera Raw - WB - Tone - Drop Exposure and Bump Contrast, Massively increase Clarity and Vibrance with a slight drop in Saturation. Lens Corrections and CA removal with Auto perspective correction (very minor difference). Grad Filter to darken the sky via exposure drop and bump clarity/contrast to pop details. Spot Removal - First dust then moved on to sidewalk to clean up gum/spots followed by grass and finally the distracting skate stoppers and sign.

Photoshop itself consisted of tons of *tons* of cloning healing and content aware deletes to clean up the plaques and other misc little things. The toughest part was the shadow removal from what I assume was a light pole. Definitely a fan of the new Camera Raw as a filter in CC...

Looking forward to next week!
