Hello everyone! I'm a new comer in this forum. Last weekend I went to waterloo (near Brussels) to watch a performance - mimic waterloo battle. It was quite interesing and here I would like to share with you several pictures.Thanks for your comments!

These are great, the post is spot on, really atmospheric images, especially with the smoke and agree that they have a film-still look to them along with a hint of war painting. #1 is my favourite, followed by #3 because the cannon looks hench. #5 and #6 are really good too but in general it's a great set.

Really nice. Beautiful cannon shot and solo rider on the white horse. The costumes look quite elaborate.

Sometimes a bit much vignette IMO, and quite some variance in brightness / tone. I suppose that was on purpose?

I am glad that you like these photos.
Actually the vignette is original - I didn't process that deliberately. The variance in brightness/tone is due to my process - I failed to make them more consistent, as I typically spent little time on post-processing. But I will try to do something else to correct.
