Looks like the great 60D sell-off has begun.

From cpw (external link):

The 70D is about to be announced, so this is the best time for 60D blow-out deals. 60D + PRO-100 Printer for $478 (after $400 MIR). This is the best price that we've seen -- ever -- on the 60D.

How to get the deal:

I actually did the Pixma9000 MKii from Adorama last year, since it's a different promo I should be ok to do this rebate, right?

Thanks

Great price. Cheap body with a free printer pretty much.

Still works. Adorama is out-of-stock of 60D but you can still order the deal and they'll ship it when they get stock.

Even the same printer, rebate is valid again for the same address after 3 month of your last rebate redeem.
Say, if you did the rebate in March, and you are good now to do another.

I would just note, that the rebate must be postmarked by July 31st. So they are back ordered on the printer, and you need the UPC from the box for the rebate.

I was tempted to try, but really didn't want to risk it be delayed a few weeks and not being able to have everything necessary to post mark it before the 31st and having the two items for $878 instead of $478.

Adorama allowed me order it without any back-ordered information but then it shows 2/3 items are in back-order. Then I must call Adorama to cancel it because of post-mark deadline and they rejected in returning the reward code I used in the order (lost some bucks).

I ordered this last Friday without any notification that any items were on backorder. Yesterday, I received an email from Adorama saying that the camera was on backorder (should ship in 10-14 days), but they were holding the printer for me until the camera is ready to ship.

I am going to wait and hope that they ship the items in time so I can complete the rebate documentation by 7/31. This would give me about 4 weeks to get the shipment. If it reaches me after that, I'll just return it immediately and get a refund.
