I just received a new lens this evening, a Bower (samyang, rokinon) 35mm F1.4 lens. I can't believe the quality you get for $379! I haven't tested it yet to see if I have a good copy, but with my first image, I can see that I'll be very pleased after testing.

Here's my first shot, an obligatory dog photo. Shot at wide open at f1.4 with bad light.

Here's Tucker, a 9-week old Border Collie:

Those with a good eye will note that the paw on camera left is lit by a distant window while the one on the right reflects incandescent light. WB was on Auto, shot in jpg because my old MacBook w/ 1G of RAM takes forever to process RAW. (Solution: New MacBook Pro, 8 GB of RAM, l5 core currently on a boat from China...)

I LOVE EB's! And Angus is a perfect name for one... too cute. Love those squishy faces.

he was 11 mos old here(now 4+1/2) walking by a pond on the way to the dog park, this was spur of the moment... 1/2 sec later his head was snapping around , he crouched and bounded off after a squirrel

Yes she is, when she wants to. Yesterday she didn't seem to be in much of mood for posing though.

Nice shot of your pup.
