This image looks awesome printed and at it's native 10690x5592 but it looks so bad reduced if anyone wants to give me some tips on image size reduction i would appreciate it. I did this in photoshop bicubic sharpen for reduction

Nothing spectacular really. The summit is called "Croix des Prélayes" and is 2365m (7760 feet I believe) high. It's sitting at the northern extremity of the Mont Blanc massif, and in what we call the "elbow" of the Rhone Valley (the Rhone turns 90° to the right at this point). It is what gives this place such a spectacular view on the swiss Alps.

The trail is not entirely on the map, but you can't really go wrong. It starts at the end of the road you see in the bottom left corner of the picture. There are two other pictures from this hike in my flickr gallery, if you're interested. It's quite easy to access, as long as you don't suffer from vertigo.
