I don't know if you intended it or not, but this is a rare photo where the bokeh actually has something to do with the subject.

The refection on the glasses gives the impression that she's in a snow globe of bokeh looking at all the bubbly highlights floating around.

bw!bw!bw!

Thank you! :) I know exactly what you mean. I noticed her looking around and mf on her glasses a lot until i got the angle and "view" that i was after. Nice analogy with the snow globe! :)

Gorgeous! What aperture did you use? It's a rare example of really good bokeh with the 50/1.8 - great job!

Whats the point of having a 1.8... i always shoot wide open, especially on portraits. I stop down only for street and timelapse. :)

@Gomez (Rick): Exceptional results, even though not that original (what is original these days). Congrats on the 2 photos! :)

Here are a couple of shots from this weekend where I was playing around with the MultiExposure function and getting some cool shots of my wife. Post done only on color/tone. Had fun with these and Love how they came out:

That's pretty amazing you were able to do that all in camera. Looks like a professional photoshop job, IMO.bw!

I feel like an idiot, but I didn't realize the 6D had multi-exposure! I'm going to have to give that a spin... after I read my user manual... I'm constantly telling people to read their manuals and yet I haven't gotten around to reading through mine for the 6D, most options are so straight forward I never felt the need

Thanks a lot! I appreciate that. Yes, all in camera. Just some color enhancements in LR5 with a few tweaks using NIK plugins, but no compositing or anything in PS.

Thanks for the kind words! Just having some fun :)

Lol, I know... sad. I've read more of my EOS M manual than my 6D manual, and I've had that for far less time

Just sold my 40d and some random glass I do not ever use anymore (18-55, 75-300, 10-22) and bought a 6d! Now it's just the waiting game waiting for it to get to my house. I plan on posting some pictures when I start tinkering around with it. Most of all the shots in this thread are great. I really am looking forward to this camera. I have been reading about it for a long time now and finally pull the trigger.
