I think it is more to do with my tracking abilities than the camera. I had servo on and the shutter speed at its fastest but the number of shots of beak and tail and that was all is almost embarrassing. :o

I get that. I don't know how many shots I've missed because I didn't track them very well.

Shooting BiF is an art and skillset that takes a good long while to get down. I'm not there yet.

Thanks Charles. These were taken with a 500mm f4 with a 1.4 converter to get the 700mm 5.6.
