I went out with behind_the_glass to shoot the Bay Bridge last night from Treasure Island, it was super hazy before sunset but after the sun went down we got in some good shots. Here's one I took, 3 shot "shift" panorama with my TS-E 24 II. It is an amazing view and one of the few places in San Francisco that you can get the Bay Bridge and Golden Gate Bridge in the same shot.

That is amazingly beautiful.

Only gripe I have with it, which is a personal one, is that I don't like busy foreground elements =/
But beautiful colors and great angle!

Jim, Kevin shot that in Colma.

Yep, he sent me a PM with the exact coordinates. I'll have a look next time I'm passing through The City of the Dead.

These are all awesome! I love the framing on this one, and would love to see it in color. ;)

Gorgeous! Both of you guys are doing some excellent post processing on these. Can you share what you do to get them looking so amazing? I'm guessing it's HDR... but would love to know more. :)

Thanks! And actually mine was not HDR. It was a single long exposure, when I have time, I'll post a "before" of the image.

And to be honest, I din't do much, just some color grading, de-saturation, dropped the vibrance a bit, sharpening, clarity, upped some shadows, and perspective fix.

No idea, I'm interested in getting some though. During the SF Giant's Fireworks Day last year I got some really cool shots. 4th of July is usually super crowded everywhere but I'm sure there has to be some good spots.

Most of the good shots are from Treasure Island. But I imagine the spots are going to fill up early.

Treasure Island is a great location as is Hawk Hill.Of course, provided that the fog/marine layer stays away. The last few times I've gone were a bust due o fog :-/
