it was 107 when i shot this, had to have my light right by his face to out power the sun. The sun was literally right on his face. No shade unfortunately.

Great image! The lighting looks very natural, especially considering how you described the ambient.

that was my problem, because the sun was smack in his face. I didnt want flat lighting so moved my light to camera left, if the sun was there too it woulve looked more realistic but that was my only option unfortunately.
