My wife has been asking me to do photos of her for some time now and tuesday we finally got around to it. So far I've only edited one so now she will be bugging me to edit the rest but hers get put to the bottom of the stack so long as paying customers are sitting unedited but we are getting closer anyway lol.

Taken with the 5d3 & 50m 1.2 @ 1/250 f/1.8. two E640's key with a beauty dish, hair with 20ยบ grid.

Is that blur on the left added in PP? For some reason, it just looks very unnatural. Maybe bc its in a straight line?

Beautiful wife. Congratulations. You need to share your secrets on how to get her to want photos. My fiance hates when I take photos of her :)

No the blur is natural from the lens.
The secret so far as I can tell is having her hair and makeup done for the photos lol

Nice photo, the blur to the left is distracting...crop that out and have her on the left side.. you have a winner, just my opinion

Love the 1.2. Great DOF at 1.8. Think I might have cropped tighter to avoid the bokeh close in. Superior image otherwise. Bravo.
